Nursery
Our nursery is based in Maesymeillion, a small village a few miles outside of Llandysul, & is known locally as ‘Gwastod Nursery’. This is where all our growing is done. We grow all of our own vegetable & bedding plants – all the Marigolds, Pansies etc you see at Trefhedyn are grown by our own fair hands. The nursery is open to the public Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Directions
From Newcastle Emlyn:
Take the A475 (signposted Lampeter) & follow the road to Horeb. At Horeb crossroads carry on the A475 until you reach ‘Prengwyn’. At the crossroads in Prengwyn take the left turning between the Gwarcefel Arms & Chapel. Follow this road for 1 mile
From Lampeter:
Take the A475 (signposted Cardigan) & follow the road to Prengwyn. At the crossroads in Prengwyn take the right turning between the Gwarcefel Arms & Chapel. Follow this road for 1 mile & turn right opposite the village sign of ‘Maesymeillion’. The nursery is 500yards down this road on the left-hand side.
From Llandysul:
From the B4624 turn right for Gorrig. At Gorrig, turn right for Lampeter & follow the road to Prengwyn. At the crossroads in Prengwyn take the left turning between the Gwarcefel Arms & Chapel. Follow this road for 1 mile & turn right opposite the village sign of ‘Maesymeillion’. The nursery is 500yards down this road on the left-hand side.
From Aberaeron:
Take the A487 (signposted Cardigan). At Synnod Inn turn left onto the A486 & immediately left again onto the B4338 (signposted Talgarreg). Follow the road through Talgarreg & Pontsian. Pass the village shop in Pontsian & carry on up the hill. At the end of the road turn right (signposted Maesymeillion) & take the second turning on the right opposite the village sign of ‘Maesymeillion’. The nursery is 500yards down this road on the left-hand side.
