The bulk of compost we sell is made by Erin Horticulture an Irish company who supply good quality, cheap compost. It does the job for most people and is a very competitive price.
We stock a relatively new brand Vital Earth, a peat free organic multi -purpose compost. Peat free composts have been based on ground wood bark with added fertilisers. Vital Earth compost is a green waste compost and probably the best Peat Free compost on the market. Fairly new on the market they began in Brecon but due to expansion have moved to Lancashire.
We sell Wessex soil improver – horse manure and mushroom compost mixed together – smelly, strong lovely stuff for mixing into the ground.
Bark
We also stock Chipped Bark that is ideal to decorate your garden, either around trees and shrubs or in children’s play areas.
